Researcher in Electromagnetic Compatibility and cybersecurity of wireless communication systems

Activités de recherche

Virginie Deniau received the Ph.D. degrees in electronics from the University of Lille in 2003. Since 2003, she is Researcher in electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) for the University Gustave Eiffel. She conducts works on electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) for land transport. Her research interests include EMC test methodologies, characterization and modelling of electromagnetic transport environments, the immunity test methodologies for embedded systems and the susceptibility of the telecommunication systems in transportation regarding intentional and unintentional EM interferences. She also works in the hardening of land transport systems regarding cyberattacks, such electromagnetic attacks. She has participated in numerous projects and she was coordinator of the Eu project SECRET for SECurity of Railways against Electromagnetic aTtacks and she currently leads the LoRa-R project about the susceptibility of the Lora communications in railway environment.
