I am a Senior Researcher (Directeur de recherche) at the Materials and Structures department (MAST), Université Gustave Eiffel, Campus of Nantes, France. I joined Université Gustave Eiffel (then IFSTTAR) in 2012, after earning a PhD in Industrial Engineering and performing post-doctoral research at the University of Padova, Italy.
My work focuses on the experimental characterization and numerical simulation of powders and granular materials. My research interests span on several aspects such as the rheology of dense granular flows particularly considering wall friction and wall slip, industrial multiphase and multiphysics flows, particle breakage, cohesion of powders at low temperature for planetary applications.
I have co-supervised 7 PhD theses and 4 post-docs, and published more than 40 papers in peer reviewed international journals. I am an elected member of the Working Party on Mechanics of Particulate Solids of the European Federation of Chemical Engineering (WP MPS, EFCE) since 2024.
