Marwan Hassini is PhD candidate working on lithium-ion batteries reuse in mobile charging stations. Its ongoing research work aims to expand the lifespan of ‘second life’ batteries used in the mobile charging stations produced by the french start-up Mob-Energy.
His research interests include lithium-ion batteries, electric vehicles, aging and charging technologies.

PhD title : "Second life lithium-ion batteries in charging systems : ageing issues"
The research is conducted as a collaboration between the company Mob-Energy and the joint research team ERC GEST (Ampère and ECO7 laboratories)
Work on going :
• Aging study of real batteries aged in electric vehicles and reused in a charging robot
• Invention of novels experimental techniques for fast characterization of aged batteries
• Energy management optimization thanks to a Battery Management System
