Depuis le début de ma carrière, je m'intéresse aux facteurs impactant la santé humaine, avec le souci de mettre mes compétences en statistiques au service de grandes questions de société (impact environnemental, pollution, mobilité).
Après une thèse en épidémiologie spatiale (analyses de la diffusion des épidémies de méningite en Afrique Sub-saharienne, en lien notamment avec les vents de poussière), et un post-doctorat en épidémiologie environnementale (analyses d'associations de l'exposome – ensemble des facteurs d’exposition environnementale auxquels l’être humain est soumis depuis sa vie intra-utérine - et de l'épigénome – ensemble des marques épigénétiques observées chez un individu - avec des indicateurs de santé pendant la vie fœtale et l'enfance), je travaille depuis 2021 à l’Umrestte en épidémiologie routière.
Mes problématiques de recherche actuelles portent sur l’évaluation des enjeux de mobilité et de sécurité lié à l’utilisation d’engins de déplacement personnel (trottinettes électriques, monoroues, hoverboard, skateboards etc, au travers du programme de recherche ELMOS, 2021-2024), de l’efficacité protectrice des gilets airbags pour les usagers de deux-roues motorisés (via la chaire de recherche avec la start-up In&Motion et les programmes de recherche EDAIR et REGAM, 2021-2026), et plus récemment à l’évaluation de la morbidité routière en France et aux conséquences à moyen terme des accidents de la circulation sur la santé des populations.
Je m’intéresse également à l’impact environnemental de la recherche (référente DD&RS de l’Université Gustave Eiffel, et membre du collectif Labos1point5), et aux questions d’égalité dans le monde professionnel notamment (sentinelle égalité à l’Université Gustave Eiffel).
