I work on cognitive models for a user centered design approach of product development. Basically it consists in reverse engineering the users behavior to understand their mental processes.

For example I studied how drivers decide and proceed to change lane on the highway. This helped me to provide some specifications for a better behavior of future autonomous cars' lane change systems.
