Je travaille pour l'Université Gustave Eiffel (anciennement IFSTTAR, et encore plus anciennement LCPC) depuis 2009, sur divers projets de recherche nationaux et internationaux portant principalement sur l'effet du trafic et autres actions (naturelles, climatiques par exemple) sur les structures de génie civil. Je suis impliquée dans différentes expertises sur l'évaluation structurelles de structures existantes.
Aujourd'hui, en tant que data scientist, j'essaie de faciliter l'introduction de ces méthodes de traitement de données dans le domaine du génie civil, et plus particulièrement des ouvrages d'art.
After MSc and PhD in civil engineering, I have been working for Université Gustave Eiffel (former IFSTTAR, and even former LCPC) since 2009, on various European and national research projects on impact of traffic loads and other (e.g. climate) actions on structures. I am involved in several expertise studies of assessment of existing, ageing structures. Nowadays, as data scientist, I try to integrate these innovative ways to treat data in the more traditionnal world of bridges and structures.

INFRASTAR vise à développer les connaissances et l'expertise pour un management optimal et fiable des structures. Appliqué aux ponts et aux éoliennes, ce projet répond à 3 défis majeurs: 1 / modélisation avancée du comportement du béton à la fatigue, 2 / nouvelles méthodes d'évaluations non destructives pour la détection précoce des dommages, 3 / approche probabiliste de la fiabilité de la structure en fatigue. Les méthodes existantes et l'état de l'art reposent sur un conservatisme excessif qui induit des coûts de maintenance élevés, et fait obstacle au développement durable et à la compétitivité. INFRASTAR propose des solutions innovantes pour la gestion des infrastructures. Piloté par l’IFSTTAR, ce projet implique 12 doctorants répartis dans 5 instituts de 5 pays européens. Le consortium comprend 4 partenaires académiques (AAU, BAM, EPFL, IFSTTAR) et 4 partenaires industriels (COWI, GUD, NEOSTRAIN, PHIMECA). L’approche multidisciplinaire engagée améliorera les connaissances pour optimiser la conception de nouvelles structures, pour une vérification plus réaliste de la sécurité structurelle et pour une prédiction plus précise de la durée de vie résiduelle des structures existantes. Ce projet affirme l’engagement de l’IFSTTAR dans la gestion des structures, notamment du parc éolien et la mise en place d’un management efficace basé sur le développement des méthodes de mesures non destructives et leur utilisation dans une politique de maintenance intelligente.

Un système intégré pour soutenir les décisions opérationnelles et stratégiques avec pour objectif d’accroître la résilience de l'infrastructure
PANOPTIS vise à exploiter les outils et services existants (par exemple, les modèles climatiques, la modélisation des événements extrêmes et de leurs impacts, les systèmes d'alerte précoce (EWS), les capteurs de surveillance de la santé structurelle / environnementale et les services de l'UE, tels que Copernicus), ainsi que des solutions novatrices (imagerie terrestre et par satellite pour l'inspection de l'infrastructure, techniques avancées d'apprentissage et de fusion de données, etc.) en vue de fournir une plate-forme intégrée pouvant être appliquée à l'infrastructure, traitant de la compréhension des risques multiples, de la prévention intelligente et de la préparation, plus rapide et adaptée et réponse efficace. Le nouveau système intégré pour soutenir les décisions opérationnelles et stratégiques a pour objectif d’accroître la résilience de l'infrastructure.

Le but est d'analyser et comparer les méthodes d'analyse des ouvrages existants, sur un ouvrage réel du réseau Cofiroute. Ce travail s'inscrit dans diverses collaborations.
Le patrimoine d’infrastructures routières est vieillissant mais doit résister à des charges et sollicitations ne correspondant pas à celles ayant donné lieu à son dimensionnement. Par exemple, les charges de trafic routier ont augmenté en volume et en amplitude depuis la mise au point des Eurocodes dans les années 80. De plus, nous disposons actuellement de connaissances supplémentaires permettant de mieux caractériser les matériaux constituant ces ouvrages d’art.
Il existe différentes méthodes, non normalisées permettant d’évaluer cet état structurel : bien sûr, appliquer à nouveau le code de calcul ayant donné lieu au dimensionnement permet de caractériser l’évolution de la situation. Par ailleurs, l’application des Eurocodes est encore la méthode à utiliser en premier pour analyser des ouvrages existants, sachant qu’il est probable que le résultat sera que l’ouvrage ne dispose pas des réserves structurelles existantes. Ainsi, il est possible d’appliquer des méthodes proposées par les bulletins fib 80 et 76 pour évaluer les ouvrages, sur la base de connaissances supplémentaires, comme par exemple des auscultations réalisées, des données sur les sollicitations…
Le stagiaire devra en premier se familiariser avec les codes de dimensionnement en vigueur (Eurocodes et ISO2394 :2015), et les méthodes proposées actuellement pour la mise à jour de l’évaluation de la fiabilité des ouvrages (bulletins fib).
