Mon activité de recherche a trait à la caractérisation multi-échelles des phénomènes de transport et de transferts d’énergie et de matière dans les milieux hétérogènes impliquant une phase fluide et une phase solide. Des méthodes expérimentales et des outils de simulation numérique continue sont développés et adaptés à l’échelle de résolution. La modélisation du transfert de masse est examinée pour caractériser les phénomènes d’advection-diffusion au sein d’écoulements complexes. A l’échelle du procédé, des travaux conduits sur le mélange, la séparation, le séchage des matériaux bitumineux, et plus récemment sur le transport et le stockage d’énergie en matrice argileuse sont étudiés sous l’angle de la réduction de modèle.

My research activities are related to the multi-scale characterization of transport phenomena in heterogeneous media. Experimental methods and numerical simulation tools are developed according to the resolution-scale. These works were conducted on mixing, separation, drying and thermal energy storage in the field of waste to energy system loops.
