Dr. CHAKOUR EL-MEHDI is a Doctor in Embedded Systems and Artificial Intelligence. He completed his Ph.D. within the Laboratory of Research in Sciences and Engineering (LaRSI) at the Faculty of Sciences and Technologies, University of Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah (USMBA), Fez, Morocco. He previously received his Master’s degree in Intelligent and Embedded Systems from the same institution in 2020. Since September 2025, he has been serving as a Research Engineer (Postdoctoral Fellow) at the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS), within the research environment of ESIEE Paris (Université Gustave Eiffel), where he contributes to the DeepOEIL-Tel project focused on AI-driven retinal imaging and tele-ophthalmology solutions.
