Bahman Madadi, Ph.D.

Principal Investigator (PI) and coordinator of the ANR JCJC GREENSHIFT project (AAPG 2026, axis H.18), funded by the French National Research Agency (ANR; selected for funding on July 28, 2026) and hosted by EMob-Lab (Université Gustave Eiffel / ENTPE). GREENSHIFT aims to design optimized networks of multimodal mobility hubs integrating public transport, shared electric vehicles, bicycles, micromobility and fast charging, co-designed with zero-emission zones and equity-sensitive incentive policies.
My research focuses on learning-based optimization for transport and energy: graph neural networks, deep learning, operations research, transport network design, traffic simulation and geospatial data analysis, toward seamless zero-emission multimodal mobility.
I serve as Associate Editor of Transportation Engineering (Elsevier) and on the Steering Committee of the RERITE Working Group on reproducible research in transportation.
Ph.D., Delft University of Technology (TU Delft).
