Researsher (Chargé de recherche)

CFR / LBA - Laboratoire de Biomécanique Appliquée

I'm a biomechanical researcher and my work focus on understanding and preventing traumatic brain and spinal injury. My education was mechanical engineering and I earned my Ph.D. researching how to improve ski helmets to prevent traumatic brain injury. I then worked at Ecole de Technology Superior (Montreal, Canada) on characterizing and modeling the cervical spine to understand injury mechanisms and I developed foam and helmet technologies for hockey players. I am passionate about bridging the gap between fundamental biomechanics research and product development to better protect our brains!
